Pamela Marie Manza
We chose BGS to protect our home when we moved for a multitude of reasons — first was the vibe we got from their management: very friendly and dedicated to meeting our needs at a great price point. The install was seamless and the equipment was cutting edge. Their customer service truly sets them apart from the rest.

I can't say enough good things about this company. My car got broken into in my own driveway and my old security system did not capture any of it. Called up BGS and spoke to Rob. He came to my house within an hour of hanging up and set me up properly. Found my blind spots and gave me exactly what I needed at a much better price point. Recommended Rob and BGS to my next door neighbor and they did the same for him!

I recently had the BGS home security installed, and the experience from start to finish was excellent. The sales consultation was informative without being pushy. The installation was smooth and professional. I now have 2 layers of security. I feel much safer now — I highly recommend this system.

BGS security comes in with all their expertise. With very knowledgeable professionals they will assess your security needs and tailor a security plan to fit perfectly. The most impressive is the quality of the latest equipment — it feels almost like in a Bond movie. I always know if someone is on my property way before they reach the door.
What's different about securing a Princeton home?
Princeton is one of New Jersey's most prestigious communities — a town of historic estates, distinguished residences, businesses, and high-value properties. The combination of historic architecture, significant property values, and a high-profile community makes professional security not just a preference, but a necessity.
Princeton is unlike anywhere else BGS Security serves — a historic Mercer County town built around the university, with a dense, walkable center, centuries-old homes, and a mix of stately residences and academic and commercial property. Securing older Princeton homes calls for a careful touch: wireless sensors and discreet placement that protect the house without drilling through original plaster, woodwork, or historic façades, paired with modern cameras and entry detection where they're needed.
Our security system installation is tailored to each property's age and architecture, and every system is backed by 24/7 central-station monitoring. From Princeton we also serve Monroe and Old Bridge to the northeast.
Princeton has one of the region's more detailed alarm ordinances, and it's worth understanding. Every burglar and fire alarm must be registered with the Princeton Police — within 30 days of installation, and re-registered every two years (currently $25 each, or $50 combined). A monitored alarm can only be called off if your monitoring company notifies dispatch before officers arrive, which is exactly why professional central-station monitoring matters here. If you travel, the police also offer vacant-house checks. We register your system and configure it to meet every one of these requirements.
