We chose BGS to protect our home when we moved for a multitude of reasons — first was the vibe we got from their management: very friendly and dedicated to meeting our needs at a great price point. The install was seamless and the equipment was cutting edge. Their customer service truly sets them apart from the rest.

I can't say enough good things about this company. My car got broken into in my own driveway and my old security system did not capture any of it. Called up BGS and spoke to Rob. He came to my house within an hour of hanging up and set me up properly. Found my blind spots and gave me exactly what I needed at a much better price point. Recommended Rob and BGS to my next door neighbor and they did the same for him!

I recently had the BGS home security installed, and the experience from start to finish was excellent. The sales consultation was informative without being pushy. The installation was smooth and professional. I now have 2 layers of security. I feel much safer now — I highly recommend this system.

BGS security comes in with all their expertise. With very knowledgeable professionals they will assess your security needs and tailor a security plan to fit perfectly. The most impressive is the quality of the latest equipment — it feels almost like in a Bond movie. I always know if someone is on my property way before they reach the door.
What makes securing a home different in Pound Ridge?
Pound Ridge is among the smallest and most rural towns in Westchester County, with no real commercial center and large-acreage properties bordering Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, the county's largest park, and the Connecticut state line. Protecting these properties calls for coverage across long, wooded driveways and wildlife-heavy terrain, not equipment built for a dense suburban lot.
Pound Ridge is one of the smallest and most rural towns in Westchester County, bordering both Ward Pound Ridge Reservation — the county's largest park at over 4,700 acres — and the Connecticut state line. There is no real commercial center here; large-acreage properties and horse farms are the norm, set well back from narrow country roads.
Properties bordering the reservation and surrounding preserved woodland bring heavy deer and wildlife activity that can trigger false alarms on a poorly tuned motion sensor, along with long perimeters and driveways hidden by dense tree cover. BGS Security's security system installation in Pound Ridge uses cellular-backed, wireless equipment from Ajax Systems calibrated specifically to reduce wildlife false triggers while maintaining full perimeter coverage, backed by 24/7 central-station monitoring. BGS Security also serves nearby White Plains — see our White Plains service page for more on coverage across northern Westchester County.
Locally, Pound Ridge regulates alarm systems under Chapter 36 of the Town Code, administered through the Pound Ridge Police Department. BGS Security confirms current registration requirements directly with the department and configures every system to meet the town's requirements before activation.
